Campfire Sydney is part of Hack Club’s global game jam movement, uniting high school students in over 200 cities for an epic weekend of creativity and collaboration. Running from February 28 to March 1, 2026, this event invites young hackers, musicians, artists, and curious minds to come together and build original games—no prior experience required. Whether you’re bringing your own crew or joining a team on-site, you’ll dive into hands-on workshops, enjoy free food and swag, and publish your project on itch.io.

The Sydney jam kicks off with check-in and an opening ceremony before plunging into two days of coding, learning, and fun. From technical sessions to spontaneous activities, there’s something for everyone. Participants will submit their games for voting on the second day, wrapping up with a celebration of what’s been built. Hosted by Hack Club, this event is designed to help high schoolers learn through doing, meet like-minded peers, and ship a project they’re proud of.
